"In life one shouldn’t take oneself too seriously, otherwise one is at risk of becoming way too boring!"
"I’m very fortunate to be able to make the audience dream"
"Crazy Horse Paris has always been avant-garde"

What’s the story behind your stage name?

George is really my first name. I kept it for the stage, since I believe it sounds chic and international. As to Bangable, it’s both an allusion to Clark Gable, this incredible actor who’s held last century’s most beautiful women in his arms and from whom I’ve borrowed the famous mustache, which does have the desired effect…! Also and more importantly, because being “bangable”, means someone who’s, well, desirable… I enjoy flouting the social conventions of elegance as a dandy gentleman by adding a touch of humor. In life one shouldn’t take oneself too seriously, otherwise one is at risk of becoming way too boring!

What sort of a man are you when you’re at Crazy Horse Paris?

I’m happy and lucky to be in this Parisian icon, working with a dream team. I am the man of the hour, he who starts the festivities, the first also to greet the audience as they descend the luminescent staircase and enter through the door and into the heart of the cabaret. I’m the one who will sweep you off your feet and into an unforgettable evening.

What makes you passionate about your work?

Seeing the sparks that I’m able to kindle in people’s eyes. I’m very fortunate to be able to make the audience dream and escape their worries during a precious and privileged, albeit fleeting moment, which I get to share with them. It’s pure joy to be able to see all those smiling faces looking grateful. It warms my heart and gives me wings that animate and feed my passion. Only the audience can make you truly grasp how important and precious your passion for your work really is.

What is your view on the emblematic Crazy Horse Paris dancers, with whom you share this legendary stage?

I’m in awe of the dancers, of their extraordinary talent. But, above I admire the way in which each one manages to be, on stage, a live expression of all the various facets of emotions we all have inside ourselves: poetry, passion, sensuality, eroticism, craziness and audacity. A Crazy Girl is a highly concentrated spark of joy, 1000 times over!

For seventy years and counting, what makes Crazy Horse Paris such a magical place?

Crazy Horse Paris is a tribute to womanhood, the most wonderful declaration of love.
The uniqueness of its shows differentiates it from any other and makes it a one-of-a-kind and magical place. Crazy Horse Paris has always been avant-garde and the modernity of its acts, as well as these amazing lighting effects that dress the dancers’ bodies, have established its hallmark signature style throughout the world. Often imitated but never equalled, Crazy Horse Paris has been able to make a lasting impression by constantly renewing itself, evolving with its time and thereby remaining intemporal.
