The answer is self-evident, so book your tickets very soon for one of the summer shows at Crazy Horse Paris open non-stop for the enjoyment of all those who are fans of the grace and chutzpah of cabaret.
All year long, Crazy Horse Paris offers iconic celebrities from the worlds of fashion, film and music an unmissable experience during their stay in the capital. Recently, for example, the cabaret has had the pleasure of welcoming Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Lily-Rose Depp (whose father, Johnny, also visited last winter), Chris Hemsworth (who plays the role of Thor for the Marvel Cinematic Universe), the musician Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner shortly before their wedding, and the French singer and actress Louane.
Actors Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) also celebrated the actressâs birthday there with a memorable party, of which Diane gave a delightful account on the American talk-show Live with Kelly and Ryan.
âI took Norman there and he said to me âIs it your birthday or mine?â,â she recounted with amusement, before continuing: âHe was like,â (Kruger mimed her enraptured companion) âand I was going: âGo on, close your mouth.â It was really fabulous. Iâve been there a few times and this show was particularly good. Those girls are amazing dancers.â
If Diane says so, we must believe her. So, when are you coming?
Paris, September 13th, 2016 â Crazy Horse Paris is proud and happy to announce that it has accepted the invitation of Jean de Loisy, artistic director of Nuit Blanche and president of the Palais de Tokyo, to participate in the 2016 edition of Nuit Blanche. This yearâs theme of the popular night-time event: crossings over and, in particular, that of the Seine river and therefore, its bridges.
Held every year since 2002 on the first Saturday in October, the city of Paris organizes this âSleepless Nightâ, in french Nuit Blanche. This yearâs edition will be held on Saturday, October 1st, from 7 p.m. âtil dawn. It is a popular and festive event, art taking center stage in the city, pervading public parks and iconic Parisian monuments and buildings.
In 2016, Nuit Blanche was provide the opportunity to discover the city differently with an itinerary designed such a symbolic cartography, inviting the visitor to participate in a loverâs quest along the Seine, from town hall to the Ăle aux Cygnes and up to the city of tomorrow, the Grand Paris. Nuit Blancheâs leitmotiv, personified by Poliphilo, main character of a 15th century illustrated Italian novel, in which he pursues his love, Polia, in his dreams, only to sadly awaken when he, at long last, manages to conquer her heart. Not unlike him, visitors will be invited to cross dreamlike landscapes, going through inner change and transformation in the process.
In the Petit Palais gardens, a spellbinding encounter soothes Poliphiloâs heart. Just as in numerous passages in the novel, nymphs help our hero by guiding and enthralling him. A flash of light, symbolizing the frontier between where the real world ends and dreams begin, greets visitors as they enter the garden. They discover a magical and bewitching world laid out in lavish 19th century scenery.
Hidden behind peristyle columns, Crazy Horse Paris nymphs seem to have taken shelter in this enchanting place. In the middle of the central pool, their vaporous robes sway gently and they whisper delicately into the visitorsâ ears.
A must-see of Parisian nightlife, Crazy Horse Paris was celebrating 65 years of creation and Parisian chic in 2016. The legendary venue is known for its dancers with dreamlike names, clothed in nothing but lights and mystery. On stage, the Crazy Girls, sensual, beguiling and recalling the legend, are part of the shining stars of Parisian nightlife.
The Crazy Horse Paris, thanks to its reputation and unique know-how on how to beautify women, has always inspired the greatest artists of our time. Ever since 2006, by welcoming creators and artists, from fashion and dance, the cabaret constantly renews itself and its vision of sensuality and femininity.
From October 5th to December 31st, 2016, the famous Parisian lingerie designer Chantal Thomass will be taking over the cabaretâs artistic direction. Together with the in-house Crazy Horse Paris team and the choreographer StĂ©phane Jarny, she has created several exclusive acts and reworked some of the Crazy Horse Parisâ iconic numbers, for a crazily glamorous show called Dessous Dessus.
On August 2, The Crazy Horse Paris travelling troupe flew to Australia, Singapore, and Macau for 14 weeks of performances of the show âForever Crazyâ. When French glamour meets its audience in the far-off Asia Pacific to offer it a creative experienceâŠ. Thereâs the promise of moments that will remain legendary forever.
Presenting the quintessence of 65 years of Parisian glamour for the first time in Australia is the âCrazyâ challenge Crazy Horse Paris has set itself when it comes to meet its audience for a series of exceptional shows across the country. The first challenge is one of scale: 14 dancers, a tour director, 5 stage managers, 1 dresser, 2 touring setsâŠÂ this is a full troupe mobilized for the occasion.
Itâs also very exciting to go to the Asia Pacific: the dancers of âForever Crazyâ, from Crazy Horse Paris, are being specifically trained before their departure by stage director Svetlana Kostantinova. And theyâre really looking forward to honoring French glamour and proudly wearing the colors of Crazy Horse Paris!
âForever Crazy,â the touring show, is a tribute to Alain Bernardin, founder of Crazy Horse Paris: a fireworks of iconic acts that exalt femininity, with a touch of impertinence thatâs so French, so tipically âCrazyâ. It is an ode to glamour that resonates at every moment of the show⊠high heels and fine curves, naughty swaying hips and vermilion mouths; the dancers of Crazy Horse Paris embody Parisian seduction at its best!
Dressed and undressed in light, they offer a true poetry for the eyes, since the scenography and games of lights know how to enhance them at every step, every wink, at every movement they make. From grace to purity, a sophistication tinged with humor and impertinence: âForever Crazyâ is both classic and modern to pay tribute to todayâs woman â free and audacious in her frank femininity.
It is indeed a truly unique artistic experience that âForever Crazyâ offers as part of this tour, one that allows the Australian public to experience a true Parisian evening at a distance of over 13,000km! The size of the theatres, between 1,000 and 1,500 seats, allowed the artistic direction of Crazy Horse Paris to give free rein to its creativity.
On each side of the stage, two LED screens were installed to project a video capture made in the studio last spring before and during the show. The Crazy Girls on stage will have never been so enhanced in every way, with unprecedented viewing angles as well as a colorful, sensual and joyful dive behind the scenes at Crazy Horse Paris.
This video capture offers a new perspective and an almost magical dimension to the show, while glamour and seduction are as always the golden threads woven into the performance.
