Where did you get your stage-name?
Ali Mahdavi changed my name from Kosky Nella to Candy St. Louis after he saw me perform in Las Vegas. He said my character on stage came across as sweet. And St. Louis is the name of the sugar in France.
What is your fondest memory at the Crazy Horse thus far?
My best memory of Crazy Horse, was when the Vegas show was closing and they awarded me a contract to perform on the Paris stage where Crazy Horse all began.
How do you get motivated when you get up every day?
I love what I do so that is my motivation but also I think about a time when I was not performing. So i am blessed.
Who is the woman that inspires you the most ?
The dedication of all dancers inspire me.
What’s your best beauty and/or fitness tip?
Eating healthy and being happy is my beauty secret.
What is « Crazy » and what is not « Crazy » for you?
Crazy is feminine, classy, confident, elegance, with the famous cambre. Without all these elements, it would be hard to look a Crazy Horse dancer.
What is your favourite act in the show?
There are so many Crazy Horse numbers I love. Numbers I performed and numbers I haven’t. Too many to list.
How do you become a dancer at the Crazy Horse ?
I met one of the dancers in the Vegas show. She set up a meet with the show manager so I can hand in my picture and resume. I waited for the Paris staff to arrive in Las Vegas ( which was a few weeks later ). They called me in for a private audition. After, they asked me to send a video of me dancing to Paris… and Voilà !
How do you prepare before getting on stage? Are there any rituals you go through?
I mentally prepare myself before every number. Focusing on what is neede for the performance so I can be better than I was yesterday. But before the show even begins, I do my make up and then warm up my body with stretches and some work out exercises.

Crazy Horse dancers are confident, sensual and classy.
