SUZY FESTIVAL
How did you get your stage-name?
“Suzy” represents a woman from the 1950s… Back then, the watchword was seduction. Women were starting to show cleavage, skirts were getting shorter… It was the dawn of the sexual revolution! “Festival” stands for my character, as I’m a festival all by myself.
What is your fondest memory at the Crazy Horse thus far?
My fondest memory is the day I celebrated my birthday with the other girls in between two shows. There was a wonderful atmosphere.
How do you get motivated when you get up every day?
I’m not originally from Paris, so I neither have friends nor family here. Therefore, first thing I do to get motivated is call the people I love.
Who is the woman that inspires you most?
Keira Knightley is the woman who inspires me most.
What’s your best beauty and/or fitness tip?
My best beauty tip is Yves Saint Laurent’s mascara.
What is “Crazy” and what is “not Crazy” for you?
An arched back and standing so that buttocks and breasts stand out and look good is Crazy. Bad posture, butt in, shoulders forward is not Crazy.
What is your favorite act in the show?
It’s “Jungle Fever”.
How do you become a Crazy Horse dancer?
By passing an audition! But you become a Crazy Girl when know how to dance and master the Crazy technique, as well as the interpretation based on sensuality and seduction.
