Scene Final Fantasy Crazy Horse Paris By Antoine Poupel

FINAL FANTASY

A highly technical scene

Inspired by the Japanese ancestral art “Shibari”, “Final Fantasy” was conceived by Patricia Folly, aka Psykko Tico, dancer and artistic coordinator the Crazy Horse, in collaboration with Cyrille Vergnes.

This is one of the most challenging acts in the DĂ©sirs showfor the Crazy Girls to learn.

Thus a long training of three to four months is needed to learn the impressive choreography and basic techniques Patricia and Cyrille’s work demands.

A groundbreaking cabaret

With this dramatic act, the Crazy Horse breaks new ground in presenting such an aerial number on its legendary stage. A first in its history, especially in view of the configuration of this legendary hall, made up of old cellars.

Its founder, the artist Alain Bernardin, was also indeed fascinated by this stage with its very low ceiling, which, in his opinion, framed the beauties to perfection, and which is reminiscent of a cinematic format.

With this technical feat, the famous House at 12 avenue George V takes a new step in the evolution of its show, by perfectly aligning itself with the mission that Andrée Deissenberg gave it: to to put art and creation back at the center of the show and by continuing its tradition of being the most innovative of cabarets in Paris.

Nudity, half-hidden

The Italian fashion designer Stefano Canulli, a former collaborator of Thierry Mugler and the Cirque du Soleil, who created this number’s costumes, artfully succeeded in meeting the need for covering certain parts of the dancer-performer’s body, to protect her during her choreography. For this scene, he designed one of the most astonishing and highly glamorous original creations ever.

High heels with red soles, which get tangled in the ropes in this scene were created by the famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin.

The projections and lighting for this magical sequence of the DĂ©sirs show were created by the talented teams of the Crazy Horse Paris.
